Monday, 3/11 will be a Single Session school day for students.

Girl Scout Week is March 11 - 15 and Brookside Place School troops will celebrate with a series of events.

The second trimester of the 2023 - 2024 school year will end on Friday, 3/8. Report cards will be available in Power School on Friday, 3/22.

The BPS PTA will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, 3/5 at 7:00 PM at the school. All parents/guardians are welcome to attend.

BPS Art Night 2024 will be held on Wednesday, 3/20. The evening will focus on the ancient art of mask making and will give families a chance to create a piece that reflects their interests and creativity.

Congratulations to the Grade 4 Beginner Band on their showcase performance. Led by band director Mr. Gautieri, the group played selections that highlighted their learning and skill development.

Thank you to all who helped make BPS Skate Night such a success, especially event chair Mr. Risse. Saturday evening at Warinanco Skating Rink was a wonderful winter evening.

BPS Cultural Night was a wonderful celebration that highlighted different cultures and heritages.

On Tuesday, 2/6, students in Grades 3 - 5 attended an assembly sponsored by the BPS PTA. Performer Lou Del Bianco presented Out of Rushmore's Shadow, a show that told the story of Mount Rushmore and his grandfather's role in its creation.

February is National Children's Dental Health Month. In recognition, BPS students in Grades K, 1 and 2 attended a special assembly on Wednesday, 2/7, hosted by Dr. Scott Gersch of Gersch Orthodontics. Each student received a toothbrush and messages were shared about brushing, flossing and the importance of dental hygiene. Special thanks to Nurse O'Hara for coordinating the event.
