The twist? While pennies and bills ADD points, silver coins (nickels, dimes, quarters) SUBTRACT points. For instance, a nickel deducts five points, a dime ten, and a quarter twenty-five. This adds a strategic element as each grade will try to outsmart each other by strategically sabotaging opponents while boosting their own score. At the end of each day the points will be tallied and posted on the leaderboard. The fundraising period ends on Friday, 3/15 and the winning grade will earn a prize. In addition to raising funds for the BPS PTA, Coin Clash will promote teamwork and a friendly competition. It is also a fun way for students and parents/guardians to come together for a good cause.
