BPS PTA Holiday Boutique The BPS PTA will host its annual Holiday Boutique on Thursday, 12/7 and Friday, 12/8.
First Trimester Ends ~ Wednesday 12/6 The first of three trimesters for the 2023-2024 school year ends on Wednesday, 12/6. The second trimester will begin the following day. First trimester report cards will be available in PowerSchool on Friday, 12/22.
Veterans Day Recognition Cranford Public Schools and Brookside Place School honored veterans on Wednesday, 11/8 with a series of events. At BPS there was a clap in of three veterans associated with our school community.

Single Session School Day ~ Wednesday 11/22/23 For Grades 1 - 5, arrival will be at 8:35 AM and dismissal at 12:35 PM. No lunch will be served, but please pack a water and snack. For Kindergarten, only PM kindergarten students will attend school. Arrival will be at 8:35 AM and dismissal at 11:15 AM.
Fall Fun at BPS Brookside families gathered together to celebrate the season at Fall Fest 2023. The afternoon included games, music, contests, a bouncy obstacle course, delicious treats and more. Thank you to all who made the day a success!
Walk, Bike & Roll The Brookside Place School community took part in National Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day on October 4. There was a visit from the Cranford Cougar and officers from the Cranford Police Department were also on hand. BPS Crossing Guard Mr. Byron Johnson helped make it a special day too!
Helping the Oceans Congratulations to the BPS Environmental Club for their successful "Hot Cocoa To-Go" fundraiser to support ocean clean up efforts. Thanks to the students and families who supported the sale and helped raise $260 for 4Ocean, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting the ocean plastic crisis.
Pop Tabs for a Good Cause The students in Mrs. Wilhelm's Grade 4 classroom are once again collecting pop tabs to support the Ronald McDonald House Foundation. Save your tabs and donate them to help families facing illness.
