Supporting Troops through Operation Military Matters During the month of December, Mrs. Halkias's and Mrs. Lambe’s Grade 5 class collected donations for troops and sent them to Operation Military Matters. 5NH was happy to support this cause and thanks the families that made donations.
Bringing History to Life Thanks to the generosity and support of the BPS PTA, students in grades 3-5 will attend assemblies on Wednesday, 1/24 designed to bring history to life.
Bond Referendum and Single Session on 1/23/24 The CPS calendar for the 2023-2024 school year was amended to include a single session for students and staff on Tuesday, 1/23/24. Only PM session students will attend school from approx. 8:30 AM - 11:15 AM. Dismissal for students in Grades 1 - 5 is 12:35 PM.
No School ~ Monday, 1/15/24 Cranford Public Schools will be closed for students and staff on Monday, 1/15/24 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday.
Pop Tab Update Thank you to all who support the BPS collection of pop tabs coordinated by Mrs. Wilhelm's Grade 4 classroom. So far this year our community has collected 70 pounds of pop tabs to support Ronald McDonald House! Let's keep that momentum up in 2024 to support a great cause!
Chess Clinic ~ Thursday, 1/11 We are looking forward to our first Chess Clinic of the 2023 - 2024 school year hosted by the CHS Chess Club. Thank you to the BPS students in Grades 3 - 5 who pre-registered for the event which will be held on on Thursday, 1/11/24 from from 2:55 PM to 4:00 PM in the BPS Cafegymatorium.
