A happy and welcoming message has been added to the hallways at BPS. In conjunction with the No Place For Hate initiative, students created colorful representations of themselves including their names and something that makes them happy / feel special. In addition, BPS School Counselor Mrs. Biggiani shared age-appropriate read-aloud books:
Grades K & 1: The Caring Me I Want to Be by Mary DiPalermo
Grade 2: Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud
Grade 3: One by Kathryn Otoshi
Grade 4: The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig
Grade 5: Just Kidding by Trudy Ludwig
No Place for Hate is a program designed to create learning communities that value inclusivity, respect and equity.
