February is Dental Health Month and Brookside fourth graders spread the word by creating posters that highlighted the message “Healthy Habits for Healthy Smiles.” Their posters were part of the annual dental health poster contest sponsored by the Union County Dental Society. More than twenty Brooksiders submitted beautiful posters for a chance to be entered in the county-wide contest. Congratulations to Olivia Lukenda and Lily Miller, who are the BPS finalists. They will be honored at a special dinner at Costa del Sol later this month and have a chance to win the grand prize of a $100 gift card. Special thanks also to Nurse O'Hara for coordinating the contest for the school. The other beautiful posters are lining the halls of Brookside.
