Spreading Kindness Like Confetti

Colorful Dots on a Bulletin Board
On Friday, November 13, Brookside Place School and Cranford Public Schools recognized World Kindness Day by wearing "Choose Kind" and school spirit attire and participating in a district-wide project. After reciting the No Place for Hate Pledge, students and staff wrote their names on colorful dots. These were used to create the bulletin board message: We pledge to throw kindness around like confetti!
World Kindness Day is a global day that promotes the importance of being kind to each other, to yourself, and to the world. This day, celebrated on November 13 of each year, is designed to help everyone understand that compassion for others is what binds us all together. Cranford Public Schools are also involved in the "No Place for Hate" campaign, an education program from the Anti Defamation League.
