Grade 2 teacher Mrs. Michelle Petrow has been named the Governor's Educator of the Year 2023 - 2024 for Brookside Place School and Kindergarten Classroom Assistant Mrs. Mary Markowski has been named Educational Services Professional of the Year. The New Jersey Department of Education recognize educators who have gone above and beyond in their service to students through this annual program which invites school communities to nominate and celebrate the achievements of their teachers and support staff.
